No Smoking Cruise Ships

No smoking cruise ships. Some were once completely smoke-free while others are now taking the advice of doctors the govt. As aboard Azamara whose ships are more or less identical to Oceanias smoking is prohibited except in two areas. Given that smoking is already prohibited on all outdoor decks during the bunkering process this means that guests will not be able to smoke anywhere on board for several hours.

On cruise ships smoking is restricted to certain areas of the vessel. Most river cruise lines including Viking River Cruises APT and AmaWaterways operate a no smoking policy on board. Smoking on cruise ships is only permitted in designated areas.

Cigar and pipe smoking are only permitted in the latter. Many hotels restaurant and other venues are smoke-free or have non-smoking regulations in public spaces. Smoking includes cigarettes e-cigarettes cigars e-cigars or any other smoking device.

If youre a nonsmoker however and would prefer to sail on a nearly smoke-free ship the lines with the most restrictive policies include Azamara Celebrity Disney PO Ponant SeaDream Viking. Cruise ship smoking areas are usually tucked out of the way and are pretty easy for non-smokers to avoid. There are several cruise ships in existence today enforcing some of the strictest non-smoking policies in the industry.

Smoking may be restricted to certain areas or not allowed. Carnival Paradise is the only non-smoking cruise ship. Disney Cruise Line does not permit smoking in any indoor areas.
